Hello world!

It’s Complicated: The American Teenager by Robin Bowman is a book filled with the photos and stories of hundreds of teenagers from all over the country. These young people were asked the same 26 questions, and were simply asked to provide honest answers. The result is a collection of the stories of their lives; some are tragic, some funny, some inspirational, but all are real accounts about what it is like to be a young person today.

Our English 30-1 class created a similar Research and Multimedia project called “Who We Are”. This semester long project assignment expresses the views and beliefs of students at Centre High Campus, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 2010. This  is our opportunity to show our community who you, and young people like you, really are.

These students are some of the bravest young people I have ever met.  I am honoured to be their ‘guide on the side’  in the classroom and appreciate their raw truthfulness as they so graciously have let me into their lives these months. I wish you all the best in your future. Be the wind; do the impossible!
